Absolutely fantastic service. I had a flat tyre and was given this company’s card by the AA, so I called at around 6:45 pm to explain what I needed.

He gave me the option of coming out that evening or the following morning. As I’m a teacher and needed my car ready for work the next day, I asked if he could come that evening. He offered 8:30 pm, which worked perfectly for me. I also explained that I had to leave the car parked on the road because my house doesn’t have a parking space, and he immediately reassured me that this wasn’t a problem.

He actually arrived around 8:20 pm, replaced two tyres, and took the old tyres away with him. The whole process was straightforward and professional, and I was safely back on the road that evening.

What really stood out to me, though, was how kind, patient, and reassuring he was. I’m originally from Texas and am still getting used to how things work in the UK, especially when it comes to what you’re supposed to do when something goes wrong with your car. I had quite a few questions about what the protocol was in an emergency situation, and he took the time to answer every single one with genuine compassion and empathy. He never made me feel silly for asking questions, and that meant a lot when I was already stressed about having a flat tyre.

It’s one thing to provide a service; it’s another to make someone feel genuinely looked after when they’re stranded and unsure of what to do. He did exactly that.

The communication, flexibility, professionalism, and kindness were all excellent. I would absolutely use this service again and would recommend them to anyone who needs mobile or emergency tyre assistance.

Which parts of Hatfield do you cover?

My car is parked in a private or shared car park. Do I need permission?

Do you take the old tyre away?

Yes, we take your old tyre with us for disposal, so you're not left with it. Just let us know when you call if you'd rather keep it, for example if you want to show it to someone or keep it as a spare.

Is it illegal to drive on a flat or badly under-inflated tyre?

Driving with a defective or dangerously under-inflated tyre is an offence in the UK, and penalties can be applied for each tyre involved, so a car with several bad tyres can attract several penalties. Beyond the law, an under-inflated tyre overheats and can fail suddenly. If your tyre is flat, stop somewhere safe and call rather than trying to nurse it home.

My car has a sealant repair kit instead of a spare. Should I use it?

Only if you need to get out of a dangerous spot. Sealant is a temporary fix with a speed and distance limit, it won't help with a large hole or sidewall damage, and it can make a proper repair harder afterwards, so the tyre is more likely to need replacing. If you can wait somewhere safe, it's usually better to call us and have the tyre repaired or replaced properly.
