Absolutely fantastic service. I had a flat tyre and was given this company’s card by the AA, so I called at around 6:45 pm to explain what I needed.

He gave me the option of coming out that evening or the following morning. As I’m a teacher and needed my car ready for work the next day, I asked if he could come that evening. He offered 8:30 pm, which worked perfectly for me. I also explained that I had to leave the car parked on the road because my house doesn’t have a parking space, and he immediately reassured me that this wasn’t a problem.

He actually arrived around 8:20 pm, replaced two tyres, and took the old tyres away with him. The whole process was straightforward and professional, and I was safely back on the road that evening.

What really stood out to me, though, was how kind, patient, and reassuring he was. I’m originally from Texas and am still getting used to how things work in the UK, especially when it comes to what you’re supposed to do when something goes wrong with your car. I had quite a few questions about what the protocol was in an emergency situation, and he took the time to answer every single one with genuine compassion and empathy. He never made me feel silly for asking questions, and that meant a lot when I was already stressed about having a flat tyre.

It’s one thing to provide a service; it’s another to make someone feel genuinely looked after when they’re stranded and unsure of what to do. He did exactly that.

The communication, flexibility, professionalism, and kindness were all excellent. I would absolutely use this service again and would recommend them to anyone who needs mobile or emergency tyre assistance.

Which parts of Stevenage do you cover?

Is there anything I should do before you arrive?

If you can, park on firm, level ground with the handbrake on and the front wheels straight. A car on a slope or on soft ground can't be jacked safely, so we may ask you to move a short distance first. Keep the vehicle clear of passing traffic, and let us know if you're in a spot with limited room.

I've got a courtesy car or a hire car with a flat tyre. Can you help?

Usually, yes. Check with the hire or lease company first, because some contracts say you must use their own breakdown provider, or they may want to approve the cost. Once that's clear, we fit the tyre the same way we would on your own car.

Will fitting damage my alloys or low profile tyres?

We fit with equipment made for alloy wheels and take care around the rim, which matters most on low profile tyres where there's little sidewall to work with. If a wheel is already kerbed, buckled or corroded, we'll show you before we start, so nothing gets blamed on the fitting afterwards.

Do you still come out in bad weather or in the dark?

Yes, we work 24 hours a day, all year round, and carry lighting for night jobs. Safety comes first though: in heavy rain, ice or a spot too close to traffic, we may ask to move the car somewhere safer before we start.
